With just 10 days until release, I wanted to pull back the curtain and share a few behind-the-scenes truths that helped shape Moons and Shadows - the characters, the process, and the heart behind the story.

Some of these are personal, some are quirky, and some are part of what I believe makes this indie book launch feel like more than just a release - it’s a journey. So here we go…

We’re officially in the final stretch - just 11 days until Moons and Shadows releases into the world.

The business side is set (hello, freshly activated checking account ✨), the final steps are lining up, and while the to-do list is still very real… I’m choosing faith. Faith in the process. Faith in the people behind the scenes. And most of all - faith in you, the reader.

I’m in a strange season of waiting. Waiting for the business things to take shape. Waiting for the new checking account to clear. Waiting for everything I thought I had lined up to catch up to me. And here’s what I’ve realized during all this waiting: I’m not a procrastinator. In fact, I feel incredibly uncomfortable when I’m forced to slow down because of logistics - especially when I’ve done my part, and the rest is out of my control. It’s uncomfortable. It’s disorienting.
